Canrobert and Avenue Road Footpath and Road Works, Mosman

[Update] 23 March 2020: (Night Works) Council’s contractor will be working on Rangers Avenue and Avenue Road intersection. Council requests your cooperation to comply with the temporary traffic control measures.

I wish to advise that Council’s contractor Stateline Asphalt will be undertaking road and footpath works at the following locations:

- Avenue Road between Canrobert Street and Upper Avenue Road
- Upper Avenue Road between Avenue Road and Mosman Street
- Avenue Road between Centenary Drive and Mosman Bay Wharf
- (Completed) Harnett Avenue
- (Completed) Canrobert Street
- Mosman Street between Mosman Bay Wharf Steps and end of road

The works are scheduled to begin on 10 February 2020 and be completed within four weeks weather permitting. Council’s contractor will notify affected residents and businesses closer to the date. The working hours will be both day and night works depending on the location of works. For day works standard working hours of Monday – Friday 7am-6pm, Sat 7am-1pm and night works from Monday – Friday 6pm-5am.

Traffic and pedestrian control will be in effect and parking will be suspended at selected areas during the works.

At times, some areas of footpaths and roads will be closed when it is considered unsafe for pedestrian movements but emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Please ensure that your vehicles are NOT parked within the ‘Work Zone’ areas for the duration of works and Council requests your cooperation to comply with the temporary traffic control measures.
