Medusa Street and Pursell Avenue Footpath Renewal Works

I wish to advise that Council’s contractor NSW Building and Civil will be undertaking footpath renewal works along Medusa Street and Pursell Avenue, Mosman. There will be some addtional works along Spit Road between Medusa St and Ida Avenue, Mosman. The works are scheduled to begin the week of 29th September 2025 and be completed within two weeks weather permitting. Council’s contractor will notify affected residents closer to the date. The standard working hours will be Monday – Friday 7am – 6pm and Saturday 8am – 1pm. Spit Road Works will be completed at night between 8pm and 5pm. Traffic and pedestrian control will be in effect and parking will be suspended at selected areas during the works. At times some areas of roads and footpath will be closed when it is considered unsafe for vehicle or pedestrian movements, but emergency access will be maintained at all times. Please ensure that your vehicles are NOT parked within the ‘Work Zone’ areas for the duration of works and Council requests your cooperation to comply with the temporary traffic control measures.
