Middle Head Road New Pedestrian Refuge Island

Council’s Contractor, Stateline Asphalt will be constructing a new pedestrian refuge island on Middle Head Road, Mosman. The new refuge island and footpath works will link to North Headland Park footpath.  The work is scheduled to commence Monday the 16 September 2019 and should be completed before the end of September, weather permitting. The contractor will confirm the dates of work closer to the date. Standard working hours will be from 7:00am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday 8am to 1pm. Traffic and pedestrian control will be in effect and parking will be suspended at selected areas during the works.  At times some areas of roads and footpath will be closed when it is considered unsafe for vehicle or pedestrian movements but emergency access will be maintained at all times.  Please ensure that your vehicles are NOT parked within the ‘Work Zone’ areas and Council requests your cooperation to comply with the temporary traffic control measures.  For further information please contact David Woodley 9978 4083.
