Connect Sydney have upcoming road maintenance works along Spit Road. Work will be carried out in both directions at Spit Road, between Awaba Street and Medusa Street.
Work will be undertaken across ten night shifts between Thursday 7 May and Friday 3 July 2026, weather and site conditions permitting.
Work hours will be from 8pm to 5am, Sunday night to Friday morning. Work will not be undertaken on Friday nights, Saturdays or public holidays.
Spit Road will remain open to traffic with lane closures in place. Roads adjacent to Spit Road may be impacted at times. Access to properties will be maintained.
Work will include resurfacing sections of the road and repainting line markings to create a smoother and safer road surface.
