Bardwell Road and Prince Street Intersection Upgrade Works

[Update] Majority of the works have been completed. Outstanding works include line marking, sign posting, vegetation/gardening work and general clean-up of site.

Council Contractor Ally Civil will be undertaking upgrade works at Bardwell Road and Prince Street Intersection. The Works include upgrades to the roundabout, re-alignment of the kerb and renewing the refuge islands. Planting works will be undertaken following completion of the civil works.  

The Works is scheduled to commence on 30 November 2020 and estimated to be completed within three weeks, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be in effect and parking will be suspended at the intersection of Bardwell Road and Prince Street. Details of the traffic control measures and work updates will be posted here.

Please ensure that your vehicles are NOT parked within the ‘Work Zone’ areas and Council requests your cooperation to comply with the temporary traffic control measures. These areas will be barricaded on the afternoon prior to works. Council has advised the Contractor to minimise possible noise disturbance. However due to the type of machinery used for these works, some noise impacts are unavoidable.
