Council Contractor, Reitsma Constructions Pty Ltd is undertaking Refurbishment Work of the Mosman Swim Centre, Vista Street. The works are ongoing and scheduled to be completed by November 2020 due to some unforeseen conditions and additional works. The Swim Centre operations will cease during this period.
The works include refurbishment of change rooms, replacing of concourse and wall tiles, pool, pool gutter and balance tank related works, ceiling work and construction of a new storeroom at the grandstand. The mechanical ventilation improvement works include metal duct works and replacement of fabric ventilation duct in the pool hall. There will be minor repair works of basement plant rooms. The pool plant servicing / repairs and replacement will be undertaken on a need basis.
The working hours allowed will be from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Sunday in accordance with the “Environmental Planning and Assessment (COVID–19 Development – Construction Work Days) Order 2020”. However, the contractor will not undertake works during Sundays and Public Holidays.
