Mosman council is removing this tree due to terminal decline
The tree will be removed on Friday 14th February and is expected to take approximately half a day.
Following an inspection by staff, this tree will be removed for the following reasons:
- Less than 10 percent canopy left
- Tree has a significant fungal infection (Ganoderma) which is incurable and leads to loss of structural integrity and canopy dieback
- A secondary attack from borers has further affected the decline of this tree.
- Health issues are beyond remediation
- Risk to public
