Council’s contractor Australia Pave will be undertaking road works at the following locations:
Mandolong Road and Military Road intersection – Half the road will be closed during the works
Avenue Road and Military Road intersection – Avenue Road will be closed at the intersection
The works are scheduled to begin the week of 29 September 2025 and be completed within 1 week weather permitting. Council’s contractor will notify affected residents closer to the date. The standard working hours will be Monday – Friday 7am – 6pm and Saturday 8am – 1pm.
Traffic and pedestrian control will be in effect and parking will be suspended at selected areas during the works. Pedestrian access is maintained however there will be vehicle detours in place. Please ensure that your vehicles are NOT parked within the ‘Work Zone’ areas for the duration of works and Council requests your cooperation to comply with the temporary traffic control measures.
Council has advised the Contractor to minimise possible noise disturbance. However, due to the type of machinery used for these works, some noise impacts are unavoidable.
