Transport for NSW is carrying out this essential work as part of ongoing maintenance of the bridges on the state road network.
Work will take place between Monday 3 November and Friday 19 December in two stages:
- Night work on the bridge
A traffic lane in the southbound direction will be closed for an inspection of the underside of the
bridge deck.
Workers will be onsite for four nights between Monday 3 November and Thursday 6 November
2025, weather and site conditions permitting.
Our work needs to be carried out at night to minimise traffic disruption and reduce safety
risks to workers and road users.
Work hours will be between 8pm and 5am from Monday night to Thursday morning. - Day work below the bridge at water level
Inspection of the bridge piers will be conducted via a barge and support boats on the water.
Workers will be onsite for up to 20 day shifts between Monday 10 November and Friday 19
December 2025, weather and site conditions permitting.
Our work hours will be between 7am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.A restricted area will be established at water - level around the work zone, including the
- overnight barge mooring area between the bridge
- piers. The barge will be repositioned along the
- bridge as work advances to the next span and
- piers.
